You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing in state of practice.
✓Registered Dietitian (RD) - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in state of practice.
Certifications
✓CDE certification (NCBDE) required within 12 months of hire.
✓Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) (Non-Clinical) - American Heart Association (AHA)
Education
✓Bachelors Degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Nursing, Dietetics-Nutrition, or a biological science) from an accredited college or university.
✓High School Graduate
Master's Degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Nursing, Dietetics-Nutrition, or a biological science) from an accredited college or university. preferred
2 or more years of clinical experience in an ADA or AADE accredited program. preferred
Qualifications
✓2 or more years of clinical experience in diabetes and/or nutrition education.
