Full-Time Requirements Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification Experience working with patients/residents and modified diets is preferred. Duties: Plan menus for various age groups and health issues. Accurately calculate calories, protein, and fluid needs on nutrient analysis sheets.
Maintain weight graphs. Inform dietitian of nutrient-related concerns. Collect/document accurate nutrition information for assessments and follow-up.
Actively participate in care plan meetings. Maintain daily menu items and substitutions. Update changes in patient/resident diet orders, food preferences, etc.
Maintain patient/resident weight loss records and record monthly. Visit all new residents to individualize meal needs and preferences. Communicate with all ages of patients/residents as well as their family members.
