About the role

We are seeking a Medical Assistant in our Duke Neurology of Raleigh clinic located in Raleigh, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients.

What you’ll do
Assist Medical and NursingAssist Medical and Nursing Staff in a variety of tasks including: Taking medical histories and recording vital signs
Tee-up drug refills asTee-up drug refills as directed
Assist with prior authorizationAssist with prior authorization needs for prescriptions
Perform other clinical functionsPerform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by the physician
Assist with collection ofAssist with collection of laboratory specimens
