Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no weekends Join Novant Health Pediatrics Mint Hill as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and help provide compassionate, personalized care to patients. You’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical team while building meaningful relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their care journey. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working with pediatrics patients or in a medical office setting, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!

- Room patients and obtain vital signs to support accurate assessment and treatment planning.Collect and document patient medical histories, ensuring complete and up-to-date records.Administer vaccines and injections in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols.Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) and accurately record results in patient charts.Provide direct patient care and collaborate with physicians to support efficient clinic operations and positive patient outcomes. What We're Looking ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED, required.Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including:
- CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
- RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
- American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement, required.
Previous work in a medical office, preferred. Licensure/Certification:Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required. Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required.
