You’ll need
Certifications
✓BLS through American Heart Association
✓Nationally Certified as a Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant by one of the following: AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NAHP, NHA or NCCT
Completion of EMT Program/Trade/Technical School preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Qualifications
✓Successful completion of all Medical Assistant Core Skills, as well as additional competencies which are specialty specific, as defined within the Scope of Practice for Medical Assistants
Completion of Medical Assisting Program/Trade/Technical School preferred
