Certified Medical Assistant -

Department: Primary Care Are you passionate about patient care and creating exceptional healthcare experiences? Novant Health Ogden is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team! As a CMA, you'll be at the heart of the patient journey, providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure every patient receives outstanding care.

From welcoming patients and obtaining vital signs to assisting with procedures, administering medications and immunizations, and performing laboratory duties, you'll play a key role in helping our team deliver remarkable healthcare. What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including:
• CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
• RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
• American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement, required.

Previous work in a medical office, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required. Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required.
