Certified Medication Assistant

Rotating | PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role Present medication to patient and observes ingestion or administers medication using specified procedures. Take vital signs or observes patient to detect response to medication, and reports reactions. Restock medication inventories.

May provide direct patient care. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
