Department: General Med/Surg Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
The day-shift CNA will help support residents/patients throughout the morning and daytime routine, including personal care, meals, mobility, activities, and ongoing comfort and safety needs. The position requires the ability to prioritize multiple resident/patient needs while maintaining a calm, respectful, and professional approach. What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED, required.
1 year, preferred. 1 year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required. Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
Medication Safety - AME, reuquired. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
