Licensure
✓Must have current or unrestricted licensure in the state of Georgia as an advanced practice nurse.
Certifications
✓Current certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Qualifications
✓Three (3) years of nursing experience
✓Knowledge of professional nursing theory, clinical practice standards, normal maternal / fetal growth and development, and requirements of nurse midwifery practice.
Able to independently seek out resources and solve complex problems. preferred
Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, healthcare team, physicians, administrators, leadership, and others. preferred
Able to use sensory and cognitive functions to process and prioritize information, perform health assessments, treatment, and follow-up. preferred
Able to use fine motor skills. preferred
Able to record activities, document assessments & interventions; prepare reports and presentations. preferred
Able to use computer and learn new software programs. preferred
Able to provide leadership in clinical area of expertise and in meeting organizational goals preferred
Able to withstand prolonged standing and walking with the ability to move or lift at least fifty pounds. preferred
