Performs designated tasks for patients designated by the RN/LPN in charge of patient care. Tasks may include feeding, bathing, oral care, positioning, ambulating, and transporting. May perform basic monitoring to include temperature, pulse, respiration, B/P, and I&O.
Attends to patient's comfort and keeps nurse in charge of patient care informed of patient's needs and/or changes in condition. Tasks are performed in accordance to hospital and nursing policies and procedures as well as legal compliance policies. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. CNA certification and BLS required.
