Certifications
✓CNAs have completed Nurse Aide course and present Nurse Aide certification or have documented one-year experience as a Nurse Aide or have military training equivalent to a Nurse Aide.
✓PCA or PCT certification also acceptable
✓Must maintain a current BLS certification from American Heart Association
✓Nursing Aide Certification
✓The Certified Nurse Aide Technical Procedure Privileging Form details procedures the employee is expected to perform and must be completed by the end of the 3-month probationary period.

✓A nursing student who has completed approximately one quarter of their licensed vocational nursing curriculum and clinical experience as evidence by submission of transcripts and completed Nurse Aide Skill Validation Form.

The Medical ICCU is a state-of-the-art 29-bed intermediate critical care inpatient unit that prides itself in providing patient centered family care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. The mission of this unit will be to provide the utmost quality of care to patients that require a higher level of care but do not fit the care needs that an intensive care setting provides.
