Eight of our beds are equipped for long term EEG monitoring.
Our specialized patient population includes: strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions. The complexity of 6 neuro patients makes for a great learning experience for nurses who are interested in the ICU. Our staff works closely with physician teams, PT/OT, SLP, and other disciplines of the healthcare team to give extraordinary care.

Certified Nursing Assistant Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care. Required
- Minimum of 16 years of age required.
- Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

- Minimum of 18 years of age required.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Six months experience in patient care required or must be enrolled in nursing program.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) upon completion of unit orientation required.
- Direct patient care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.
