The CNA assists in the delivery of direct resident care under the supervision of a nurse and receives written and/or verbal assignments and directions. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent To remain eligible for automatic acceptance into the EAH LPN Program, participants must earn a “C” or higher in each prerequisite course Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 Achieve a minimum TEAS score of 65% by communicated deadline Must work minimum of 24 hours per week at EAMC Lanier Nursing Home for EAH to cover the cost of the six prerequisite courses required for admission to the on-site Practical Nursing (PN) program Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Nursing Assistant Certification BLS within 90 days of DOH/transfer Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience One-year or more nursing home experience.
