You’ll need
Licensure
✓Valid MS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be a graduate of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
Qualifications
✓One year as a nursing assistant or similar role.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with or educate residents.
✓Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, clinical staff and providers.
✓Ability to work independently as well as lead a team.
✓Ability to interpret Provider or healthcare team’s orders and carry them out as requested.
✓Must be resident/customer service oriented, projecting professionalism and socio-economic and cultural sensitivity.

About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering routine daily nursing care to assigned residents. The CNA assists nursing staff and other practitioners with patient care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as facility's established nursing care policies and procedures. The CNA conducts patient analysis and reports vital signs to the nursing staff.
