About the role

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assisting with therapeutic interventions and documentation while supporting quality and compliance standards in rehabilitation services.

What you’ll do
Communicate patient progress orCommunicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team
Instruct patients’ families orInstruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises
Assist with patient schedulingAssist with patient scheduling and post treatment charges to patient records daily
Document patient care accuratelyDocument patient care accurately and in accordance with all regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
Maintain treatment equipment andMaintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
