We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) to join our dynamic cancer registry team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of accuracy and integrity in capturing, abstracting, and coding oncology data. As a vital member of our healthcare system, your precision directly impacts cancer research, treatment compliance, and national reporting standards.
If you are a certified professional with a sharp eye for detail, deep knowledge of oncology coding conventions, and extensive experience navigating Epic, we want to hear from you! This position can offer a fully remote work schedule. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required : Successful completion at minimum an Associate's degree or equivalent (60 college level credits including 2 semesters of Anatomy & Physiology) effective 1/1/2010 OR Certificate in Cancer Registry Management or Cancer Information Management form a NCRA-accredited program.
Minimum of 1 year in a related field; cancer, nursing, medical records, or health science. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred : Knowledge in tumor registry operations, tumor staging, diagnostic tests and treatments. Licenses and Certifications Required : NCRA Oncology Data Specialist.
