The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. Coursework/Training: Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT) Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals or Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing or Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association

H. S. Diploma or GED 6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting 6 months phlebotomy experience
