PGY-1 pharmacy student required. M ust be able to proficiently read, write and speak English. Must have strong math skills, with some basic algebra.
One year experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy required. Experience with sterile compounding required. Proficient in using computer systems required.
License(s)/Certification(s): Must be registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist-Intern with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy prior to the commencement of employment. Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or other nationally recognized certification provider and enrolled in a pharmacist . Must maintain a current Iowa Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist-Intern registration and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
Must provide a photocopies of renewal certificates to the Pharmacy Management Team prior to the expiration dates of current certificates.
