✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Must be registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
✓Accountable for compliance with all state and federal regulations including licensure, prescription drug monitoring regulations, as well as the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of regulations/requirements to ensure continued compliance.
Certifications
✓National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is required.
✓Approved certification is through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PCTB) and ExCPT Certification by the National Health career Association.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED Degree (Required)
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, graduate of an approved technical, professional or vocational program (Preferred)
Qualifications
✓Up to 1 year experience in a related field; previous pharmacy technician experience (Required)
3-4 years Outpatient Pharmacy experience (Preferred)
Experience with outpatient pharmacy dispensing systems, electronic medical records (Preferred)
