Certified Respiratory Therapist accepted Registered Respiratory Therapist PreferredDEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION To work with the ICU/CCU/ED/MED/SURG personnel to provide responsive state of the art respiratory care. To work with the same personnel in the development and implementation of patient centered care. To work in a cooperative and supportive manner with Physicians, Staff, and Directors of the ICU/CCU/ED/MED/SURG Units and Respiratory Therapy to achieve that goal.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Six months Staff Therapist experience preferred but not required. Education and Training: Graduate of AMA approved program of Respiratory Therapy at the Certification level. On a yearly basis meet all hospital mandatory education requirements.
