Day
Monitors and maintains adequate levels of surgical supplies and instruments. Communicates daily instrument needs with Sterile Processing staff. Picks and prepares instrumentation and supplies needed for scheduled surgical cases.
Utilizes inventory management systems to track instruments and supplies. Unloads and stocks sterilized instrument sets in designated locations. Assists with the lending and borrowing of products and instruments with other institutions as needed.
Ensures all instruments and supplies are properly organized and stored. Reports supply issues and provides suggestions for inventory management to the Manager. Participates in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment in the OR.
Attends mandatory in-service meetings and continuing education for professional development. Provides technical support to OR staff as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Assist OR staff and co-workers in a professional and timely manner. [Required] Good oral communication and interpersonal skills. High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Work
1+ sterile processing or or supply experience [Required] Licenses and
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred] Physical
