✓Requirements
Certifications
✓The Certified Surgical Technologist or Scrub RN will possess knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.
✓Graduates of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology that is not accredited must provide a copy of a DD214 stating the base where the program was completed and a graduation certification.
✓Surgical Technologist certification obtained from the NBSTSA required within six months of hire.
✓Seeking candidates with 2 or more years' CST or Scrub RN experience in the CVOR for this weekend position
Education
✓Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology program OR graduation from an NCCT-authorized school with completion of a GED or high school diploma.
Associate degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Current Surgical Technologists with an associate degree or higher in another field and have completed at least 120 surgical cases within the last four years and have completed 30 continuing education credits within the last two years may also be considered.
✓Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skill are required
✓Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task with a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness
✓Takes direction well but also self directed and motivated
