Certifications
✓Graduate from accredited Certified Surgical Technologist program.
✓Current Certification as Surgical Technologist or obtain Certification within one year of employment.
✓BLS certification or must obtain during Orientation and prior to reporting to department.

About the role

This position provides direct patient care at the surgical field. This individual assists the physician, anesthesiologist and other team members during the surgical procedure, precertifications and prior authorizations for medications. Responsible for equipment, room preparation, maintaining and assuring sterile technique and proper patient positioning under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
