This role will assist in maintaining the cancer registry in accordance with the Commission on Cancer and the North Carolina Center Cancer Registry requirements for casefinding, abstracting, and follow up. Responsibilities Analyze and report data to medical and administrative professionals; Assist with casefinding; abstracting; and required reporting Qualifications Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification through NCRA required; Associate degree or higher; Excellent written and verbal communication; knowledge of medical terminology and use of reference texts; Able to work with accuracy and efficiency in remote setting and able to prioritize to meet deadlines.
