Licensure
✓Currently certified as a West Virginia Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic or applicable state licensure where services will be performed.
Certifications
✓Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
✓Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
✓Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent.
✓1 year post high-school education completed in applicable course of study (nursing, biology, physical therapy, sports medicine, or related field) OR
✓Current enrollment in a relevant college program (such as nursing, biology, physical therapy, sports medicine, or a closely related field) OR
Qualifications
✓A minimum of six months of experience working in an Emergency Department or pre-hospital care setting.
✓Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients.
✓Ability to adapt to changing environments.
