Licensure
✓Association of Professional Chaplains board certification (BCC) eligible
Certifications
✓Four Units of certified Clinical Pastoral Education through ACPE, Inc., or NACC.
✓and ecclesiastical endorsement.
Certification (BCC) by the Association of Professional Chaplains or an affiliate cognate group. preferred
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited college or university. Graduate professional degree from an accredited theological school. Four Units of certified Clinical Pastoral Education through ACPE, Inc., or NACC.
Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological school. One year residency from an accredited ACPE center preferred
Qualifications
✓Pastoral and/or chaplaincy experience of one year.
Clinical pastoral experience of two (2) years. Bilingual (Spanish/English). Pastoral and/or chaplaincy experience of two (2) years. preferred

About the role
Staff Chaplain is responsible for the provision of professional spiritual care to meet the needs of patients, families, and staff regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, or religious preference. Chaplain serves alongside interdisciplinary health care colleagues to create holistic care community to provide whole person care within the facility they serve.
