Baccalaureate degree in nursing. preferred
Qualifications
✓Two (2) years Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care experience with the last Five (5) years.
Seven (7) years of recent experience in Level IlI Neonatal Intensive Care (within last ten (10) years) preferred
Five (5) years of Charge Nurse or Assistant Manager experience within the last ten (10) years preferred
Two (2) years of High Risk Resuscitation Nurse experience within the last seven (7) years preferred

About the role

The Charge Nurse, under the direct and indirect supervision of the Nursing Unit Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator and/or Hospital Supervisor facilitates and assists with all levels of nursing care being provided to a group of patients within one nursing unit during the period of one working shift. In addition to these responsibilities, the Charge Nurse frequently assumes all or partial staff nurse responsibilities.
