Job OverviewEbenezer is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our team at Martin Luther Care Center. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standards of high quality care. Culinary position will plate food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption by our residents in our Senior Living Community located in Bloomington, MN.
This full-time culinary services position includes; 80 hours per two weeksDay/Evening shift Every other weekendMartin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff.

Properly cook foods to specified temperatures. Products meet temperature and quality standards. Follow standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value.
Weigh and measure ingredients per standardized recipesUse correct portioning utensils. Assemble food within specified time frames. Production is and meal service is provided in a timely manner.
Prepare bakery items per standardized recipes. Accurately complete tasks listed on daily preparation sheets. Assist with the special events.
