Full Time Days, Mon-Fri, start time rotating 7am and 7:30am Facility: Prime Healthcare SFIL Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy Services - Olympia Fields Location: 3900 W 203rd St, Suite 103, Olympia Fields, IL Responsibilities The chemotherapy pharmacy technician is trained and proficient in the sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques required for the handling of hazardous drugs. The technician primarily works in the IV room compounding hazardous drug products for hospitals with significant oncology programs.
Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High school diploma or equivalent required 2. 1 year of sterile compounding experience required 3. 3 years of related pharmacy experience preferred 4. National Pharmacy Technician Association (NPTA) Chemo Certification or similar required 5.
State Pharmacy Technician License and Registration required (if required per state regulations) 6. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $28.26. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
