HCA FL Aventura Hospital is seeking a FT Chief of Emergency Medicine for the Emergency Department, to join their premier practice in North Miami. They also have an affiliated FSER, with an additional FSER opening, slated for mid-2027. To complement this excellent clinical opportunity, the Department of Emergency Medicine offers the opportunity for a faculty appointment at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the rank/title of assistant professor or higher, depending on qualifications.

Description: This Level II Trauma Center treats over 60,000 patients annually at the Main Campus 40% admission rate Physician coverage allowing for a comfortable PPH of 2.16 24-hour in-house Trauma, Intensivist, Anesthesia, and Hospitalist coverage EMR is Meditech Pdoc with M-Modal (Expanse to soon be new upgrade) GME Programs in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery, Radiology, Transitional Year and Podiatry

Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited or acceptable equivalent post graduate training program in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) . FL licensed with DEA and at least 3 years of leadership experience.
