High School or GED, required. NC Credentials or equivalency plus 6 semester hours, required.
1 year early childhood work experience with children up to 12 years of age, required. Licensure/Certification:NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required. Additional Skills (required):NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background Check, renewed every 5 years. BSAC if working with school age children.
CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.· NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter · NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire · NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hireCDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.
