The Gluck Child Care Center was established in 1993 to provide childcare services to the employees of Scripps Health and The Scripps Research Institute. Gluck Child Care Center serves children ages 3 months to 6 years of age in eight age-appropriate classrooms. The program is staffed by fully-qualified, accomplished teachers.

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, twelve (12) semester units in college level Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education as defined by California state licensing regulations. An Infant Teacher (working with children under 2 years of age) must have at least 3 semester units related to the care of infants. Six (6) months of work experience in a licensed childcare program.
Must be able to lift a child weighing up to 50 lbs., visually supervise children playing, hear a child's call for help, and respond physically to a child's needs. Heartsaver Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certification through American Heart Association. Must meet state requirements for this role; i.e.
