Duties Description Cleaners perform a variety of tasks involving medium to heavy physical effort associated with the cleaning and caring for assigned areas and ensuring a safe, clean, and hygienic environment is maintained. Primarily assigned to patient care areas, Cleaners wash walls, bathrooms, dining rooms, floors, corridors, stairs, and stairwells; clean spilled bodily fluids and collect and transport waste within specific guidelines associated with infection control and safety; clean and polish furniture; and move furniture in preparation for cleaning.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

• There are no education or experience requirements. Applicants must be physically able to perform the task of the position, and able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
