✓Requirements
Licensure
✓LPN or RN Licensure in the State of Indiana
Certifications
✓CPR
Education
✓Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Qualifications
✓Two years’ experience in physician’s office or related experience (preferred but not required).
✓Experience in Urology preferred but not required
✓Knowledge of clinical function
✓Ability to work in conjunction with other clinic personnel
✓Knowledge of community health resources for alternate health services
✓Knowledge of community health nursing principles and practices
✓Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written reports
✓Knowledgeable in growth and development principles and provides age-appropriate care
✓Schedules patient for further testing as directed by the Practitioner
✓Keeps track of follow-up labs, wellness checks for future patient reminders
✓Maintains knowledge of rules and regulations governing the clinic
✓Sends in prescription refills as directed by the Practitioner
✓Responds to emergency situations appropriately and immediately
✓Call 911 as necessary
Background in medical-surgical nursing and immunizations preferred
