You’ll need
Licensure
✓The relationship between the physician and the physician extenders will be consistent with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and/or the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners and/or and the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
✓Board-certified or board-eligible.
✓Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
✓Maintain current DEA and BNDD numbers.
✓This is true even if the applicant is in possession of a valid medical marijuana card that otherwise allows the license-holder to legally use and consume medical marijuana.
Certifications
✓Safety-Sensitive Position - This is a “Safety-Sensitive” Position as defined by Oklahoma law.
✓As such, please be advised that applicants for this position cannot test positive in pre-employment drug tests (or any drug tests administered after employment begins) for the presence of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive component of cannabis.

Education
✓Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution is required.
✓Successful completion of a residency program.
✓Graduate Degree
Qualifications
✓Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English.
✓Basic computer skills including the ability to send/receive/email, navigate information technology associated with the position, and use Electronic Health Record information tools.
✓Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
✓Ability to remain flexible and to quickly adapt to urgent situations.
✓Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
✓Proficiency in with epidemiology and infectious diseases.
✓Skill prescribing drugs/medication appropriate for assigned patient population including a thorough understanding and ability to educate others of side effects.
✓Strong diagnostic and clinical skills including a proactive, coordinated approach with specialized care management for patients with complex chronic medical conditions.
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✓Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
✓For those positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
