- Surgical Care Unit has 14 short-stay beds and specializes in surgeries such as Plastic, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Same
- Day Surgery cases, Cath Lab Ablations, and short-stay cases, including inpatient holds that require an extended stay in the PACU. It is a fast-paced unit where we take pride in our teamwork and the quality of care we deliver to our patients. A new member of our team should possess strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills. Scope of work Provide patient care assignments as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse. Clerical/manages supplies/equipment in designated care areas. Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy. Documents in electronic medical record.
