You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Idaho or compact state RN License.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
✓Proficient in demonstrating and teaching CNA skills in accordance with Idaho State testing requirements.
Education
✓Associate Degree in Nursing required.
✓Associates (required)
BSN or MSN preferred.
Masters (preferred)
Bachelors (preferred)
Qualifications
✓Five+ years in nursing required.
✓Previous teaching experience in formal/informal settings.
✓Recent nursing experience required and current in skills/best practices.
✓Able and willing to be American Heart Association, Emergency Nurses Association, and American Academy of Pediatrics instructor.
✓Strong understanding of geriatric and rehabilitative patient needs.
✓Ability to teach and model safe patient care practices and effective time management.
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and motivate students.
Experience working with long-term care preferred.

About the role
Acts as a clinical instructor for CNA students in the CNA program both onsite and at offsite facilities, including long term care facilities.
