The Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and implementing educational programs, focusing on enhancing clinical skills and knowledge of clinical / patient care staff. Working with clinical leadership, the Clinical Educator will create learning objectives, select teaching methodologies, and assess the effectiveness of educational initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Determine the educational needs of clinical staff (Needs Assessment) Using adult learning principles, develop curriculums that address clinical practice gaps Select appropriate teaching methods and materials to facilitate learning Assess the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure educational content is relevant and applicable The successful candidate will possess: Valid CA Registered Nurse license in good standing Bachelors of Science Nursing degree or equivalent experience American Heart Association BLS / ACLS instructor certification preferred Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Educator 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a general acute care setting Understanding of behavioral health, subacute and acute care nursing practice
