Clinical Informaticist RN Senior

Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of Clinical Informaticists responsible for providing strategic direction for the Clinical Informatics functions such as implementation, support, and optimization of clinical applications and workflows across Infirmary Health (IH). Serves as a strategic partner and liaison between nursing, clinical, and IT leadership to translate clinical and operational data into actional insight that drives quality outcomes and system-wide efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or informatics Minimum 2 years’ experience in nursing Minimum 2 years’ experience working in industry/IT Proven leadership or management experience Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position Strong understanding of clinical processes and terminology Proficient with EHR systems Licensure, Registration, Certification: One of the following: Current Alabama RN license Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama* Epic Clinical Informaticist within 90 days of placement into position *Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama Desired

Master’s degree in nursing or informatics Experience in clinical consultation of workflow analysis or process design Experience supporting healthcare technology Advanced working knowledge of national and regional nursing-sensitive indicators and quality benchmarks (i.e. NDNQI, CMS, The Joint Commission) Desired Licensure, Registration, Certification: Epic Clinical Informaticist Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects
