PRN rotating How you’ll make an impact in this role Assists the EEG Technologist with preparing patients and equipment for routine EEG procedures. Under supervision, assists with applying and connecting EEG electrodes according to established protocols. Provides basic patient instructions and promotes patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Observes EEG procedures and assists the technologist with obtaining quality recordings and troubleshooting equipment as directed. Assists with cleaning, maintaining, and stocking EEG equipment and supplies according to department procedures. Reviews and follows applicable infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality practices.
Learns to recognize and report abnormalities or technical issues to the supervising EEG Technologist. Performs assigned EEG-related tasks under the supervision and direction of a qualified EEG Technologist. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required. Must be current student of Neurodiagnostic Technology programs.
