You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required
Certifications
ASCP certification, or equivalent preferred
Education
✓Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical
✓Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements stated in CLIA (42 CFR 493.1423)
Qualifications
✓Minimum two years of hospital laboratory work experience required

Implement and monitor qualityImplement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards in laboratory testing, you may also calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
Keep accurate and detailedKeep accurate and detailed records of all laboratory tests performed and their results, input data into our laboratory information systems
Ensure all laboratory operationsEnsure all laboratory operations comply with hospital policies, governmental regulations, and accreditation requirements
