Licensure
✓At a minimum, board-eligible candidate is expected to attain certification within three years.
✓Board Certified in Medical Physics - American Board of RadiologyAmerican Board of RadiologyAmerican Board of Radiology
Certifications
✓Once obtained, individual is expected to maintain certification throughout duration of employment.
Technical qualifications or specialized certifications: For more experience candidates Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiological Physics or an equivalent certification from the American Board of Medical physics in the necessary specialty as appropriate is desirable. preferred
Education
✓Master’s degree in medical physics required with strong diagnostic medical physics background and experienced preferred.
✓Masters Degree (Required)
Qualifications
✓Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience working with radiology imaging equipment of all modalities including: Fluoroscopy, Radiography (CR/DR), Mammography (2D & Breast Tomosynthesis) CT (Cone Beam CT), MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear, & PACS.
✓Effective interpersonal communication, teamwork skills, open to work on new clinical research projects.
Prefer individual is eligible for MA Radiation Control Medical Physicist Initial Qualifications for Mammography Surveys. preferred
