Responsibilities Responsible for planning, developing, and overall coordination of activities that support the Prospective Payment System (PPS) process for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Assures compliance with all State and Federal requirements related to and oversees the accuracy and timely completion/transmission of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
• Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI). Coordinates staff education and training related to scoring and documenting observations of Care Tool. Reports to Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation Services. Qualifications Job

Associate Degree in healthcare discipline. 2+ years of clinical experience. Current license in healthcare discipline: RN, PT/PTA, OT/OTA, SLP, SW. Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and familiarity with web based software applications.

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job

5+ years of clinical experience on inpatient medical setting Previous IP Rehabilitation Services experience Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office Knowledge of Medicare Prospective Payment System Knowledge of ICD-10 coding, CMG classification, and IRF-PAI
