About the role

4 East is a 31-bed cardiac telemetry unit serving a patient population of cardiac, catherization recovery, stroke, pulmonary embolism, diabetic and endocrine disorders, neurological and renal disorders.

What you’ll do
Coordinate the unit-based orientationCoordinate the unit-based orientation process and monitor the progress of new hires throughout the orientation period
Facilitate unit-based preceptor developmentFacilitate unit-based preceptor development
Assess needs and designAssess needs and design, coordinate/implement, and evaluate educational activities to maintain and advance clinical staff competency
Review and revise unit-specificReview and revise unit-specific competencies in collaboration with unit leadership and the Clinical Development Department
Maintain professional skill andMaintain professional skill and knowledge through practice and education
