Joseph’s Hospital - 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL Status: Full Time
6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Weekend requirement – every other weekend On Call: No Always in person Internship details: 3 weeks of didactic and 8-16 weeks of preceptorship Guided clinical orientation to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive care knowledge
Interns will gain experience on both day and night shift before being assigned a permanent shift Every other weekend requirement Commitment: This is an hours-based commitment required for the internship program specifically to the unit of hire beginning at the end of completed preceptorship hours
Current RN (Registered Nurse) License Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing BLS certification from the American Heart Association EKG Script test will be provided at the start of the internship program, you are required to pass within 2 attempts. The Registered Nurse – ER responsibilities and
Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
