🏫 Approximately 30 classroom hours combined with precepted clinical experience in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR) unit 🧠 In-depth education covering low-risk and high-risk pregnancies ✅ AWHONN Perinatal Orientation and Education Program (POEP) 📖 49 Continuing Education (CE) credits 🤝 Four months of precepted clinical experience , based on individual progress 💻 Didactic education provided throughout the program, including: Normal and high-risk labor & delivery 🩺 Post-delivery care 📊 Fetal monitoring 🤱 Lactation education 🕊️ Perinatal bereavement 🚼 Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) 🩹 Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse independently cares for a group of patients, consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team and is responsible for professional accountability and ongoing development . ✅
