Administrative Scope: Less than 0.50 FTE dedicated to administrative duties; oversees daily operations for Rheumatology and Central Infusion Scheduling Clinical & Operational Leadership: Partners with Operations to ensure optimal functioning, respond to urgent issues, and lead quality and safety initiatives Practice Improvement: Uses data (e.g., Press Ganey, HOSHIN metrics) to identify and lead improvements in clinical quality and service excellence Safety & Compliance: Owns clinical safety responsibilities, addresses safety reports, and ensures regulatory compliance across the service line Conflict & Issue Resolution: Manages patient complaints and daily operations concerns Communication & Representation: Communicates key updates to leadership and staff; represents nursing in committees, meetings, and special projects Human Resources Management: Supervises clinical staff, manages daily staffing, conducts performance reviews, fosters professional development, and works with Regional Nurse manager on any code of conduct concerns Onboarding & Competency: Oversees onboarding, training, and annual competency validation for clinical staff; promotes mentorship and education Professional Accountability: Upholds ANA Code of Ethics, engages in career development, and contributes to the profession through mentorship and presentations You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Current, unrestricted RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Proven ability to act cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team Demonstrated solid interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to the principals of collaboration and teamwork
3+ years of demonstrated clinical experience Leadership experience Experience in a management/leadership role within a nursing collective bargaining environment Working knowledge of organizational systems and operations Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
