✓Requirements
Licensure
✓The Clinical Nurse is responsible for his/her own professional development, including licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and maintaining current knowledge regarding the assigned patient population.
Certifications
✓NOTE: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required by the cost center in which the position resides.

✓Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
✓Current American Heart Association Certification for Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers (ACLS).
✓CA-RN (Registered Nurse).
Education
✓Attains knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice. Demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
Qualifications
✓Communication: Communicates effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice.
✓Leadership: Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
✓Professional Practice Evaluation: Evaluates own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations.
✓2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
✓Able to communicate effectively in English.
1 year experience in General Medicine setting strongly preferred.
