The Clinical Nurse Leader is a unit-based Masters-prepared nurse responsible for a specified cohort of patients. The CNL has specialized knowledge in horizontal leadership and establishes strong partnerships with patients, families, and professional and support staff to deliver optimal care. The CNL has 24-hour accountability for the care provided by self and others to whom care is delegated.
The role of the CNL includes the delivery of expert clinical care, outcomes management, patient advocacy, unit-based education, information management, risk anticipation, team management, and professional leadership.
Monday-Friday - Day Shift/8 Hours OR 10 Hours
This position - is an individual contributor with no direct reports but may provide guidance, leadership, or training to others. Education or Equivalent
: Master of Science degree in Nursing required; Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) track preferred 3 to 5 years of clinical experience required; acute care setting preferred Registered Nurse - NJ (Required) We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
