8am-5pm- Monday- Friday Novant Health is seeking a PRN Clinical Pharmacist to provide support throughout the Novant Health Cancer Institute locations within Charlotte Region . include: Clinical review, entry and modification of oncology treatment plans. Oncology order verification, hazardous and non-hazardous sterile admixture check. Partnership with clinic providers and nursing to provide remarkable patient care.

Proficiency with equipment and software. Resident (PGY1/PGY2) and student precepting. Participation in committees such as P&T, tumor boards and shared governance.

Order set review and development. Medication therapy management and patient counseling including but not limited to oncology/hematology medications and symptom management. Maintains proficiency in preceptor roles and actively emulates education/ mentorship skills Flexibility to travel to other cancer institutes and/or infusion centers as needed What We're Looking For

4 Year/Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PharmD, preferred.

Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required. ASHP accredited PGY2 Infectious disease residency OR 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.

Licensure/Certification : Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role; excludes PRN team members who may not be eligible to take certification exam, required.
